A documentary prepared by "The New York Times" in 2021, accuses Jamie Spears, father of Britney Spears, of recording his daughter in the bedroom.
"Controlling Britney Spears," which premiered on FX and Hulu in September of last year, a former security guard claimed that Jamie secretly taped more than 180 hours of audio recordings of Britney in her bedroom, including conversations with her children and lawyers, in addition to monitoring text messages, phone calls and internet history on her cell phone.
Recently, after nine months from the event, the 69-year-old has presented to the Los Angeles Supreme Court a statement denying the allegations raised.
"I am aware of the allegation ... that a listening device or 'ear' was placed in her bedroom as surveillance during custody. This claim is false,” Jamie said in court documents obtained exclusively by Page Six.
"I never conducted or authorized any surveillance of Britney's bedroom at any time, including during custody," he added. "I am not aware of any such observation."
We remind you that three weeks ago, Britney Spears said "yes" to Sam Asghari in an intimate ceremony. Although many celebrities were in attendance, her mother, father and sister, Jamie Lynn, did not receive an invitation to the wedding.
