Mix all the ingredients quickly until the eggs have formed their characteristic foam and the sugar has melted, around 10-15 minutes.

Then through a thin sieve add the wholemeal flour little by little and mix with a spoon from bottom to top.

When you have obtained a homogeneous mass of very creamy, throw it in a circular casserole 20-22 cm lined with baking paper and put it in the oven to bake.

The oven should be warm while your sponge bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. When it has taken on a golden color, the cake is ready and you can take it out of the oven.
