French writer Annie Ernaux won the 'Nobel' prize in literature. Here comes the reaction of the well-known Albanian national writer, Ismail Kadare, who attended the Nobel Prize ceremony, sitting in one of the bars in the area of ??the Artificial Lake in Tirana.
Asked by Euronews Albania if he was disappointed that he could not win this award again, Karare replied that he had no experience.
"As you can see, I have no experience. 40 years ago I could have," said Kadare.
Meanwhile, his wife, Helena Kadare, said that they do not know the writer who won the Nobel Prize, they have not even heard of her even though they have been living in France for many years.
"We don't know the writer who won the Nobel, even though we live in France. I've never heard it, to be sure, but I haven't even heard it as a name. As long as the Nobel jury is the same and has said no for 40 years, you don't have to change your opinion", said the writer Helena Kadare.
