The dictatorship of corruption, this malignant cancer of Albania!
Written by Bardhyl Bejko 1 Korrik 2022
Human history has known many forms of dictatorships. Since ancient Rome, the system led by a dictator has its beginnings. And dictatorships were installed centuries after centuries. One more savage than the other. In the nineteenth century and the following, human society recognized dictatorship, fascist, Nazi and social communist which are the most fatalistic experiences of society. Peoples have submitted to dictatorships as they have been seduced by comprehensive propaganda through which citizens have been promised a new world order, peace without borders, immediate development, no taxes, employment for all, happiness for everyone, it is enough to embrace and support , the dictatorial system, which was sold as a historic victory. The role of dictators and dictatorships at the head of states is known. The feats of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin are known, as we Albanians have tried. The dictatorship of the proletariat. There is no need for comments to show what was the dictatorship that the Albanian people experienced, it is enough to refer to the class war and the punishment of all those who thought differently and did not agree with the system installed in 1944. It is enough to remember the severe punishments of individuals and entire families who, in the name of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and the ideology of the Labor Party, were interned and suffered in the camps set up for their isolation to keep them away from the people as they could influence the behavior and propaganda they would develop in were free. In 1990, through the popular movement, Albania entered the new system, that of the market economy. Eventually, the system of the dictatorship of the proletariat gave way to democracy, i.e. the capitalist market economy. Many changes have taken place in Albania in these three decades. The choice of power through voting has guaranteed the political rotation between the majority and the opposition without war simply by voting. What about after the overthrow of the communist-socialist system, did the dictatorship end, the wounds of our society healed, and a functional democracy installed? Were the elements of dictatorship removed and democracy and basic freedoms for Albanians established in the country? Did the oppression of citizens and their economic and social interests end? In conclusion, from a social-communist country, did we wake up in democracy and throw away every element of oppression and obstacles to development and progress? I left behind the dictatorship and in the blink of an eye we woke up in the courtyard of democracy, leaving yesterday's dictatorship in oblivion, what was the oppression and impoverishment of the citizens even though it unfolded more than the social-communist system would meet the demands of the citizens, guaranteeing a better life? The promise to eat with a spoon of gold turned into a total lack of bread and deprivation of sufficient food. In reality, nothing happened from what was promised and propagandized with excitement. Many forms of dictatorship accompanied us in thirty years with a different face. If we make a more in-depth observation and analysis of how much we escaped the dictatorship, we realize that we are still under another new and even more brutal dictatorship. Only the form has changed, but the content is the same.? Indeed, the communist system lost the battle with capitalism. It collapsed like hell. The economy fell to zero. What about after? Only the financial pyramids flourished, giving Albanian capitalism the face of Sudes, Kamberit and Rrapush Xhaferit. Yes, all these are nothing before the dictatorship of corruption. In three decades since the first day, Albanians encountered this new dictatorship which turned into a boomerang for their lives. The dictatorship of corruption started with the falsification of the communist cadastres. It continued with massive privatizations without criteria. Those who had no property got rich. With the decision-making boards, the property was given to whoever had the party tessa. He continued with the appointments without any criteria. Jobs without merit. Driver without professionalism. The most brutal became the dictatorship of corruption in the battle, people-corruption. Extortion for every service and transaction became dominant. Many administrators served only by being paid in cash. Corruspinion was turned into a lubricant of comprementation and hostage-taking of society. The people's money was wasted. Although unwritten, corruption won the leading place in financial and economic relations, starting from customs and taxes, climbing to the top of the state pyramid. Corrupt administrator. Even the director. Even the specialist. The minister a little more. And the prime minister too. The President was not left out either. The history of these three decades is filled with events that have given the face of corruption that of a fairy tale. In every confrontation and opinion, report of financial organizations, internal analysis, conclusions of the KLSH, internal audit, arrests of public officials, accusations and evidence, conversations at the tables, everyone accuses everything. And they start counting the flagrant cases, how much did they pay to get a service?! How much did they pay the mortgagor? What about the judge? What about the prosecutor? How about a tender? A loan? To gain a few years of freedom from prison, how much have they paid to justice. So corruption has spread its roots deep and has hindered and penalized quite a few initiatives and projects. Of course, add here the propaganda to give corruption the primary aggressive role from the opposition which seeks to penalize the majority in many cases in a derogatory way. However, the dictatorship of corruption has its own soldiers of corruption, who aim to corrupt not only the lower-level administration, nor only the economy and financial organizations, but also the justice itself, which through its own brought to the surface how corrupt are those who have the duty to protect us from this new dictatorship. The soldiers of corruption have been placed on the offensive front. They are links in a chain. At first, they are ushered. Then they get promoted, get positions, become captains and generals. That they become specialists in corruption. Corruption is as much a dictatorship as all previous dictatorships with not the slightest difference. It exceeds in terms of damage even earthquakes, pandemics, disasters, and armed conflict itself. Only in form changes! Like moths, they eat the entire fabric of society, they eat the institutions from within. It makes them unbelievable. Corruption is the death of the economy and the extreme impoverishment of society. From it, some who have property and public money in their hands, relatives and distant ones, of those who have a stamp and signature, get rich and all the others who are left with nothing are extinguished. Because it is so destructive, the battle against it must be frontal and unstoppable by all citizens and law-enforcement bodies. Not with words. Not even bragging. Even less with propaganda. If corruption is not treated as a brutal dictatorship, as it really is, a dictatorship that suffocates and destroys the state, strangles the economy, kills citizenship, severely deforms the economy, the citizens of this country, then this dictatorship can wreak more havoc than itself. the dictatorship we overthrew in 1990. The corruption dictatorship is as vicious as all its sisters. Therefore, a frontal war is needed to uproot it from the foundations to overthrow it in every cell, as it is not just a dictatorship, but the malignant cancer of Albania! this dictatorship can wreak more havoc than the dictatorship we overthrew in 1990.
