The hypocrisy of our political class

The hypocrisy of our political class

On an unmistakable electronic electronic political scale, the deeds of this last 30-year-old are far more numerous than the achievements and successes. In the Albanian political life, but also in the social one, so many harmful "germs", vices and wickedness have been introduced that an honest person who still lives here is polluted. Deputies who later turn out to be criminals, assassins who are still in illegality, successful businessmen who put their wealth on the poverty of an entire people and with the state are OK and full of other deeds. One of the most common diseases especially in the political class is hypocrisy. Appearing in front of the electorate not with a real face has already become a common thing for our politicians. The pointless denial of yesterday's repentance and the galloping promise of tomorrow, when even the promiser himself knows that it will not be realized have become daily. If I had to make a list of concrete names, I would find it very difficult not because of lack of evidence, but because I would not know who to put in the role of "champion". Yes in turnout, the list would be endless, not only with party characters, but also with representatives of yesterday and today's power. The areas of Albanian life where hypocrisy plays as at home are numerous. One of them is that of education. In a calm and cold judgment, far from political passions, education before the late 1990s was consolidated. Not only in mass, where it was achieved that secondary education was also compulsory, but also in quality. Let us criticize the Soviet method in our education system of those years, but from those constellations emerged weighty professors and scientists worthy of every leadership position. Indeed, we were in political armor and the connections with the world were dripping, but when even world-renowned scientists had the opportunity to get acquainted with special achievements in the Albanian scientific field, they were surprised by the high professional level they faced. After the '90s, like many other values ??in Albanian daily life were wiped out, not to say disappeared, and education was subjected to a market economy, where quality was almost of no value and graduation became simpler than waiting for a ticket to watch a match at the stadium. Securing a degree even in the most difficult branches became so easy that when you faced an acquaintance of yours who knew best what his educational capacity was and to what extent he had taken the step in schooling, tear your eyes when he showed the degree and in special cases even more than one. For the good and bad luck (for the good luck to have an argument for our writing and for the bad luck of the continuation of education in the country) the direction of the education system in our country has been alternately the two political forces that run the country for almost 30 years. Without any doubt about the bad running of this system at the time they ruled themselves, they leave no reproach on the opponents. They look the hair in the other eye and do not look the beam in their eye. Mistakes are on both sides and a continuation of each other. Allegedly in the name of revolution in this field they occasionally publish a pamphlet with contemporary methods, but which always surprisingly fail. Although it has been years since the centralized way of governing was abandoned and the experts of the Ministry of Education have seen the achievements of their counterparts in Europe and beyond, we still do not have a consolidated education system, but we still continue to experiment. I do not want to make the expert of this system because this is the field of real masters who was bitten by the real truth of this system, but I want to point out the hypocrisy over the years in this field. Every minister who has come in the direction of this ministry has promised to bring innovation in the direction, but we still have volcanic lava in the minister-student relationship, because the demand-supply ratio is still unacceptable by both parties. After a period of germination of private schools and universities in an uncontrolled way and without any professional criteria, where no Albanian was left without a degree, there has already come a point when enrollment there is difficult and there are significant shortcomings in various subjects. This is an area where the relevant ministry should intervene through various forms of application where one of them may be the priority that can be given to these subjects through the incentive offer in salary after graduation. This is a wound that should be viewed with priority by the relevant experts, but I feel bad when this is pointed out by a failed "expert" in this field like the former Deputy Minister of Education for 8 years, Nora Malaj, which makes me feel that there will be no change in this regard. This is not because I have any feelings of malice towards her, but only after a real judgment of its leading activity. To have been a top education official for so many years, to take him to the lowest level of all almost 100-year history, and then to mourn for it, is immeasurable hypocrisy. No other sin should weigh on her, it is enough the fact that at the time of her rule private universities sprouted like mushrooms after the rain and went so far as to sign a degree even drinking coffee to make her feel guilty. Worse still when in her CV, written by herself she reads that for a short time she has been the head of the department of psychology - sociology at Crystal University, the most negative representative of the entire chain of private universities. As for the memory of the readers we are saying that in this university are graduated mostly Albanian deputies and an Italian figure like Renzo Bossi, the son of a well-known politician who not only does not know the Albanian language, but who had never appeared in this University. To be a sinner of such a sin that normally should be criminally punished, to leave this in oblivion and then to play the role of a sinner for the Albanian education is unacceptable. It is also unacceptable the fact that in one of her appearances on Albanian screens she stated with all her mouth that "I have Edi Rama as a childhood friend, but we do not talk by mouth and he eats me", but this is ultimately bilateral relations and have their ups and downs. Both in human terms, but also in religious terms, without apologizing for a sin committed before you have no opportunity to be honest in your dealings with others, much less with those in your professional field. So the least I can do for the famous Nora, but not as much as for Kelmendi, is to dedicate myself to the profession once and for all and not to think about giving personal experiences that no one needs. Not that the education after her leadership has been outlined and disciplined, but because the period of her leadership has been more ominous. Even today this education continues to be in ambiguity and we learn more about the internal "war" to take over the running of the university than concrete measures to improve it. And that the student-minister war has not stopped yet.
