History has shown that in all cases of conflicts between countries and states, the balance of reconciliation, which the major international institutions (UN, USA, EU, NATO, OSCE, etc.) have used and are using, has always tilted in favor of the big one. , the powerful, and never in favor, or at least in justice for the small, the weak. An accurate reflection of this conclusion are the ten-year talks between Serbia and Kosovo for the reconciliation of the almost two-century-old conflict. The powerful of the world, the USA and the EU, know very well that the Serbian genocide on the Albanian province of Kosovo started as early as 1878, and has not stopped until today. It was precisely this Serbo-Slavic genocide, culminating in 1999, that forced the US, NATO and the Old Continent itself, to intervene militarily for the liberation of the Albanians of the martyred province from the genocidal cruelty of the Serbian invaders. However, this international liberation did not "drink the coffee" of reconciliation, as is usually done at the end of the war. The "elders" of Europe, it seems as if they regretted that they bombed Serbia, so they held endless talks between Albanians and Serbs, using the same "scale" that their fathers had used in the years 1912-1913. The leaders of the negotiations know very well that between Serbia (Yugoslavia) and the Albanians of Kosovo (more precisely, Dardania), for almost two centuries, an uninterrupted river of blood has flowed, always caused by the Serbs. And yet, during the ten-year talks, while the Serbs were extended the "carrot", the Albanians were shown the "stick". The introduction into the "game" of the special envoy of Washington, raised the hopes of the Albanians, with the conviction that the great friend, just as he bombed Milosevic in 1999, would "bomb" with ultimatums Vu?i?, the former's "gobbler". But the last statements of the deputy assistant secretary of state, Gabriel Escobar, turned hope into disappointment. The "Franco-German project", for Serbia-Kosovo reconciliation, had many twists and turns, but the appearance on the stage as the first point of the "Association of Serbian Municipalities", also supported by the representative of the USA, makes the project dangerous for the future of the Republic of Kosovo. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, opposing the "association" that was signed in 2013 by Thaçi and Daçiqi, presented to the Parliament of Kosovo, a project with 6 points for the "inevitable association". These points are not only in accordance with the Constitution of Kosovo, but also in accordance with any type of association that has been designed and implemented for the national minorities of other countries. However, the moderators of the talks insist on the "association" of 2013, which requires that municipalities with a Serbian majority have constitutional, vertical and executive powers. In the points drawn up by Kurti, it is stated that the "Association" cannot contain executive attributes, but serve the horizontal cooperation of municipalities, according to the Constitution and local self-government laws (Chapter 5 of the Constitution). Despite this position of the Prime Minister of Kosovo in defense of the Constitution of his country, the special envoy of Washington, Escobar, states unequivocally that: "Whether Albin Kurti accepts it or not, the association will be signed. . . !” To the journalists' question about the specificity and urgency of the "association", Gabriel Escobar answered that: "The association is specific and urgent for two reasons: First, because over the past year and a half we have seen a series of increasing confrontations between Serbia and Kosovo, all centered around the treatment of Serbs in the north and how they interact with the government of Kosovo"!!! "The other factor, - continues Escobar, - that makes the "association" urgent, is the war in Ukraine. . . !!!” These statements are very readable even for the most amateur of politics and international diplomacy. The blame for the confrontation with Serbia lies with both sides, both the Serbs and the Albanians! Even more Albanians and their government, who have not treated Serbian citizens properly!!! I don't believe that anyone can believe that the Albanians or the government of Kosovo mistreated the Serbian residents. on the contrary, the opposite has happened and is happening. As for the conflict and war in Ukraine, the Albanians and their government have no role. The instigators of the war between Ukraine and Russia are the bosses of world capitalism, who, while waving the flag of peace, set the war machine in motion, supplying it with all the means to stop it. The Albanians of Kosovo, of Albania and of all the lands where they live, never, at least in 2000 years and hence, have not started nor instigated wars against others, but on the contrary they have experienced and opposed the wars of conquest of others, among whom, the Serbslavs have been permanent aggressors. I brought this brief picture of the situation that the people of Kosovo and the government of Albin Kurti are going through, because, unfortunately, apart from the analyst Shaban Murati, I have not seen any pronouncement on this matter, which is related to the destinies of our nation. While the talks, projects and plans are woven and unwoven between the Serbian government and our sister in Kosovo, our politicians, rulers and intellectuals sleep like a bear, clinging to the chair of power, in defense, or in kidnapping it. In an article a few days ago, published in "SOT" newspaper, I pointed out that Albin Kurti is in a very difficult position. It is located between "European acrobatics and American diplomacy". The first acts as it has always done, to the detriment of the Albanians, while the great American friend applies his already known diplomacy of "temporary friendship and permanent interests". Therefore, we should not be surprised if for the sake of this situation, and these interests, some of the interests of small countries are sacrificed. This has been done during all the conflicts that have occurred in the world. These "meat for cannon" situations have been saved by those countries and those peoples who, in crucial moments, have become one among themselves, and have forced the big ones to deflect the arrow of their diplomatic "bow". We Albanians, unfortunately, in most cases, have not been able to speak and act in unison, so we have ended up in the "test tubes" of international experiments. Not only Albin Kurti, but also our governors here in Albania, know very well that the "association" offered by internationals for municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo, in the not-so-distant future, would kill the Republic of Kosovo. Despite this situation, the silence of our citizens is disgusting. Our brothers from Kosovo call the Republic of Albania "Mother Albania", and expect a lot from her. But currently, this "nana" Albania, in these three decades, has not only remained a "widow", but also filters with the "dollar" and the "euro", leaving her "sons" alone, in front of the modern wolves of the east of the west. While the issue of the Republic of Kosovo has been put in danger, and with it our national issue, the leaders of the government and the opposition, headed by Rama, Berisha and Meta, are preparing for internal "revolutions" and "counter-revolutions", in protection or seizure of the seat of power, without giving a thought to what is happening across their personal "garden".
