"Paper with a hole" fell on the pedagogue from Korça

"Paper with a hole" fell on the pedagogue from Korça

As soon as the radios and televisions were buzzing and the newspapers were full that a lecturer of the "Fan Noli" University in Korça and one of his realtors were arrested for taking bribes in exchange for a passing grade, a large part of the public shouted loudly: Eureka, as if they had discovered a new planet. They thought that the investigative bodies finally woke up and the long-awaited justice reform began to be implemented and also that a big fish was finally caught. For those close to the academic education system, first the university professors themselves in the country, the students and their parents, and for me and my colleagues, there was nothing new. This is due to the fact that for almost 30 years now, receiving money from professors in many cases in exchange for a passing grade is already a very common thing. Only a mini portion of students, those excellent thinkers do not dare to bargain for the grade, but perhaps get the most out of it on their own. Most have slept the mind. They pay the appropriate quota directly to the lecturer or to a realtor known throughout the university and receive the grade. Even the payment depends on the grade. In all cities that have a university, even an ordinary citizen knows not only the name and surname of the professor who receives money in exchange for a grade, but also the respective price for a grade. I am not at all afraid to make such an accusation. If the SPAK will have the kindness and devotion to send even one of its inspectors to substantiate what I have asserted, it will not be at all difficult to substantiate this allegation, and it will perhaps learn more than I know, and hundreds of other citizens. If not, let him pay Fiks Fare or STOP and he will hear and be acquainted with the most scandalous facts. He will get acquainted with pedagogues, mainly young and wise, who are content with only a 5000 lek in exchange for a grade, but also with the "lubi" like that Korça pedagogue who receive up to 50,000 lek. I have nothing to do with that person. I do not know him personally or intellectually. But I have to admit that he had "perforated papers" that handcuffed him. To be arrested, I can honestly say that there are tens of hundreds like him who are fat with being in the lecturer's chair. And not just ordinary educators. Deans and rectors are also fat that they also want their share from every professor. All this comes from the rotten system itself that is already installed in our universities. Shortly after the 1990s, with the advent of democracy initially in those state universities that were flocked to enroll graduates without grade criteria. A large proportion of them who had acquired full knowledge during high school withstood the university load. Those who could not find bribery as a way of escape. Taking advantage of the big mess in all state sectors, no one dealt with this phenomenon. But after the opening of private universities this thing returned to the system. Initially those in power used this to obtain a high school diploma without going to the auditorium for a single day. An event like this happened to me almost 20 years ago: a city businessman ran for mayor and socially asked me for help. Among other things he asked me where were his weak points that would be attacked by opponents. I and the others knew that only the 7-year-old had finished and I told her that there, at education, they would attack. He quietly showed me two diplomas from two different universities and shut me up. This method was then adopted by those who had a good bank account and obtaining a degree did not cost them much. Then the pedagogues came into play. Feeling the pleasure of this work, they stepped on their personality and not only began to receive certain quotas for a grade, but to go even further: they did not give the passing grade even to those who deserved it, only that these last to go "vote" with the amount that the professors had set themselves. Do not be surprised. In the district universities this was done quite openly and initially the professors were realtors themselves. When this thing blew up, they assigned a more agile student to prepare the stay lists and then keep track of those who paid and the corresponding amount. Upon receiving the completed list, the lecturer re-evaluated the exams. All those who have been and are close to university education know very well that grades are not thrown directly by the lecturer into the system, but students are informed and given time to complain about any injustice. This in the meantime was made available to students to really "vote". The professor from Korça had given the passing grade to 5 students. He has given them a lot. I was introduced years ago to a more scandalous fact: the lecturer in the first display of exam results had passed only 2 students out of 70 who had passed the exam and when it came to throwing grades in the system, it turned out that there were only 2 students left. There were left those two cuckoos who could not pour into the realtor the money they needed for a five. It is not only to my knowledge that even today there are dozens of students who do not attend the auditorium at all and when they go to the exam they get a passing grade. I am not the only one who knows that dozens of students finish three years of university in bachelor and have no knowledge of what subject they have done to no longer know their content. I was shot for the job position I have that years ago a granddaughter of an old friend came to me to ask for help to help her in a subject that really presented gogol at university. With the feeling of pity for the friend's granddaughter and in respect of the friendship with her, I tell her to write me in a letter the name, surname, the subject she had and the name of the professor. Bravely taking, she in my presence got a friend on the phone and asked for the name of the subject and the lecturer. My revolt was extreme. Not only did I leave her, but in the meantime I got my friend on the phone to tell her that with the level her granddaughter had, she had to start high school all over again. This is one of the hundreds of examples we can take to show the level of academic education. A meaningful example is the Assembly of Albania itself where we have seen MPs who do not know how to read even what they have written. Or what Lorenc Vangjeli himself stated in an interview that within a session he had prepared 13 discussions for the deputies. Go to local and central institutions and you will meet a large number of employees and even important directors who not only do not know the alphabet of the Albanian language but in some cases even ask subordinates that the word they have to write is written with "DH" or "LL ". To laugh and to cry. And let’s close these lines with what probably everyone has heard and entered the boundaries of legend: They once went to the office of a party chairman who later became a minister and handed him the high school diploma. Instead of rejoicing over the corpse, he held the diploma in his hands and ran away. He flipped through the diploma a few times to make sure it was true and said: More guys, yes I haven’t even finished high school anymore. There was no guilt, only two years had passed.
