If Andi Lila was the Minister of Sports ?!
Written by Vangjel Sako 8 Maj 2021
In our time, appreciation for athletes in general was special. In addition to public admiration they were not even out of the attention of the authorities. In respect of the talent they had they enjoyed justified privileges where the most prominent was the 5 working hours and the special food treatment. Since most of them had secondary education, they could find a job without much sacrifice. But even they in turn knew how to compensate for this appreciation. Cities, even those with teams in the lower categories, lived all week with especially football and on the weekends there was celebration. There were many athletes who, in addition to excelling in sports, were just as excellent in lessons and who later made a career to be envied. It is in our country that the examples in the world are such that elite athletes have made major careers. As an example, we are remembering George haeha that after a great career in the top teams in Europe, he is still the President of Liberia, his hometown. But what has been constant in sports has been the motto for unity and respect for each other. Despite the isolated cases of discrimination that have not been absent, with the initiative of the highest sports institutions, in the country and in the world, this value of society has always been preached. Therefore, the statements of the former national football player Andi Lila on a screen a few days ago are not only unpopular, but also reprehensible. He prepared a "turli" with politics, sports and religion. Preaching that he is a moral Muslim he implied that athletes of different religions do not have this value. We do not know where he finds such a postulate, but he seems to confuse political outrage with the feeling of being an athlete. A product of the famous Kavaja school in football, Andi Lila rose to the level by walking in numerous teams such as Tirana, Iraklis of Thessaloniki, Pas Ioannina and Parma in Italy. He also played 53 matches with the national team and it is not that he was one of the best in the defense department, but still acceptable, as friends. So far OK. His transfiguration began when he insisted on taking on a protagonist role off the green. Congratulations on taking the initiative to create the Football Union, but the ways and strategies it used from the beginning for its functioning, showed that this initiative was not a product of a sense of duty, but only of interest. The union in a short definition is an NGO institution that comes out openly in defense of footballers. In this Albania of ours, where like many other situations in football there is a cacophony that makes your head hurt, you need not only a clear mind, but also unprecedented strength to be by the side of the large army of footballers. This is not only because FSHF as the highest governing body of football in the country, but even worse in clubs it acts by violating even the basic rules of their existence. For almost three decades, the clubs have been moving from one president to another, the municipalities pretend to be co-owners, but they have never taken their responsibilities and the AFF is watching from above, but its mind is more on enriching its coffers than on stabilizing clubs. Those who suffer after all are footballers. There are so many painful stories in the well-known clubs that footballers, although they have this game as their only source of income for their families, remain unpaid for months and the clubs owe them millions. So in order to stand by them, you must first oppose the methods used by the AFC and the clubs against them. But how can Andi Lila do this, who in every TV appearance does not forget to praise the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armando Duka, who should actually be the first accused for this situation? If Lila is real in the role of the leader of the Union, she should not kiss and hug the Duke, but should raise her voice every day to establish order in football life. Because it is the Duke and the bureaucrats who have been following for years what is directly responsible for this situation. Apparently Lila suffers from Stockholm syndrome: she has fallen in love with the persecutor of footballers when in reality she should have been on the side of the latter. But even in this statement Lila herself is contradictory: on the one hand she does not spare the praise for the president and right there she declares that the level of domestic football is 0, yes 0 at all. Come understand Andi Lila. He was incomprehensible when he enthusiastically accepted to be a candidate for MP with a certain political party. Because to be a Trade Union, what does it mean to be against the programs of any government that never meets the requirements of those you represent, openly means that if your government wins you can not open your mouth at all in defense of footballers. Then think about it, far be it from Andy Lila Minister of Sports. As a trade unionist he had to oppose the Duke and his henchmen every day, while as a minister he would have breakfast, lunch and dinner with the Duke and perhaps even sleep with him. To the devil the syndicalism that he had so much fun and preaches so diligently. But what makes you appreciate Lila as a piece of meat with two eyes was the statement after an open provocation made by the moderators of the show. Asked if he would run with another party where he would feel victorious, he contemptuously said "no" with great determination, because according to him he was a moral Muslim and religion did not allow him to do so. In many respects judging this statement is not only offensive, but also reprehensible. He knows what morality Lila is talking about, but we are taking it in the classical sense. Who has persuaded Andi Lila that only devout Muslims are moral and others are not? The former football player is a fake Muslim and does not know the Qur'an at all, which I, as an Orthodox, have read several times, and in one of his suras it is clearly stated that you fight what is against Allah, but if you pay the relevant tax, you can change it. religion. (I said the essence and not the quotation literally). And to make this discredit Andi Lila is to put your hands on your head. He played briefly with Iraklis of Thessaloniki where not only almost 90% of the staff and footballers were pure Orthodox, but he was also obliged to preach the rites of this religion. He has been part of After Ioannina for 5 years, the team where about 95% of the players, staff and even the employees of the club were Orthodox. Such was he who said "kalimera" as soon as he opened his eyes, such was she who changed the sheets every day and he was obliged to eat the dishes from the hands of an orthodox. But it does not end here. Even when he went to Parma, he was forced to live among Christians and suddenly now a pure Muslim emerges. Let it be, no one forbids it, but to despise the Orthodox, Christians and Bektashis is not in the morality of a worthy Muslim, much less in an Albania that is an example in the world for religious coexistence. Andi Lila has not been taught that one of life's lessons is "not to spit in the spring where you drank water". Because if you follow in logic the statements of Andi Lila, far be it from him if he were to become Minister of Sports, all footballers with religions other than that of Lila are immoral and urgently need to leave our championship and have to play in another league. His statements remind us of an incident years ago with one of the best and most honored Albanian athletes. At a Scandinavian hotel he deliberately put the pillow off his feet which impressed the hosts and they wanted to remind him that the pillow was put on his head. "I know, I know - our athlete replied, but I was brought here by my legs and not my head." Even Andi Lila, where he is, was apparently only carried by his legs and not his head.
