"Terrified by the cooperation !?"
Written by Bardhyl Bejko 25 Tetor 2021
Whenever there is talk of cooperation or invitations are addressed by the Chairman of the Socialist Party, Rama, at the same time the Prime Minister of the country, in the direction of the Democratic Party or individualized on behalf of its chairman, Lulzim Basha, accusations flood and every initiative is muddied as a call for the dissolution of pluralism, the dissolution of the opposition. Great trick to the detriment of democracy !? Throughout the democratic world, it is the undisputed norm to coordinate affairs and agreements for the good of our nation, our future and our children who must grow up in a climate of trust and reconciliation between the parties. In our country such harmonization and coordination, unlike the relationship between religious communities which is considered as brotherhood, it is understandable that it is impossible for the very degree of awareness and democratization of our political factors and our society in general. In many cases, they see the cooperation as an attempt by the opposite party to deceive or lie to the other party to seize power or sabotage the path to victory in the next elections. For the sake of truth, Rama's invitations are political innovation. They talk about democratic emancipation. But becoming everyday, they seem like an annoying refrain after falling, not only in the deaf ear, but also dressed in mystery from the other side, which behind them sees the deceitful man, the gogol, the thief of freedom, the corrupt who seeks t u throws them to the opposition leaders to put them to deep sleep, to rule and to create obstacles for them to reach power. In the mentality of our political class is still very strong the idea that compromises and agreements or cooperation between the opposite parties that are commonly labeled majority and opposition, is the end and bankruptcy of opposition. Considered almost like a New Look! This spirit is blown by all those who undertake to analyze the coexistence and coordination between the parties, arguing subjectively that these efforts are to the detriment of one party and opposition leaders must remain vigilant against the strategies of political opponents as they have the sole purpose according to them. to trap the other party to steer it in the course of successive losses. As an argument against cooperation and nationwide strategies in the journey towards the future for aspirations that belong to all people and require the contribution of all, the agreement is brought before the 2017 elections, where in the meeting, Rama-Basha, it was managed to give to the opposition more than half of the government and a large number of institutions that have a decisive role in the conduct of elections and election campaigns. In this agreement, in addition to the most important ministers, including the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Justice, who play a primary role in elections and law enforcement, cutting off any attempt for the purpose of the process or the use of funds, again the opposition of Lulzim Basha lost with a deep result before the Socialists. Of course, even though the defeat was handed over to the table to the contenders for power from the ranks of PD, The militants, opinion leaders and analysts close to her called it a consequence of the pre-election agreement and the blame for the loss was placed on this very act which is normal for any democracy and lays the foundations for cooperation and co-government for the future as an Albanian innovation unknown in these three decades characterized by the incessant war between political forces, where each side loves the other not above, but below ground. For the militants, yes and yes, but also for important party officials, this agreement was muddied and the opposition lost. For this, Basha became the target of the shooting and continues today to be the target of attacks by all those who see him as an opponent, who in the rostrums of Albanian cities, is accused of selling the interests of the party. This also serves as an argument that his time to be at the helm of the party is over after the continuous losses that have occurred to him in these years since 2013. This mudslinging that has terrorized Lulzim Basha and the entire leadership of the Democratic Party to maintain reflexive attitudes towards the cooperation so necessary for a democracy like ours, which still needs coordination and joining forces to reach the EU table , as a European country. But the fear for cooperation with Basha and the close circle near him, is so deep and goes to the extreme, thanks to the accusations of the speaker, Sali Berisha. Even ordinary citizens understand with the naked eye that Basha has entered into the fear of cooperation between the parties so much that with just one step he would be labeled a traitor to the party. It seems foolish to pray to him every day, even though with a very positive intention to cooperate, let alone to co-govern. In this context, as soon as a signal is issued that speaks of cooperation between the parties, immediately Basha and other important figures with weight around him, as did the Chairman of the PD group, Alfred Rushaj, who stated that there will be no meetings and contacts with Rama behind the cameras. Like Rushaj, Gazmend Bardhi and Gurakuqi, Tabaku and Mrs. Duma appear in front of every microphone to oppose loudly and with the most insulting vocabulary. It is the nightmare of the whole opposition. In today's reality, cooperation is an obligation deriving from democracy, being a complementary factor of political parties, as two sides of a coin between the position and the opposition. Democracy itself, with its laws presupposes and implies this coordination and cooperation. Only that the parties unfortunately, the opposition qualifies any attempt as if it were the murder of pluralism and opposition politics which deems that if it says yes, it is anathema and condemned by the pro-opposition opinion. Edi Rama does not ask for cooperation. Albanians love him because they are tired of 'gig-vicet', quarrels, anger, incessant insults and hatred that flows over each of the leaders and political activists, so many times, pure or cultured politicians declare: - In damn this quarrel policy! It is not only Rama who seeks cooperation between the parties on behalf of the future. This is required by all world organizations and the most important chancelleries of the globe. Whenever they address Albanian politicians, representatives of the US, EU, EC or OSCE / ODHIR, call for cooperation to implement strategies that have nationwide radiation. The most vocal representatives of Europe constantly, at the end of each statement, demand and pray that the Albanians come together for the good of the country and the citizens, so they do not stop inviting them to undertake joint initiatives. Cooperation is not simply the wish or whim of a political leader, be he prime minister, minister, speaker of parliament or whoever. It is an obligation that stems from the essence of democracy. There can be no justice reform and no significant reform if they do not find the language for major solutions, the majority and the opposition. Fear of cooperation is a deficit in political culture. It is capitulation before accusations of treason or fraud. Achieving a mature democracy requires serious and uninterrupted cooperation. Laws cannot be changed and constitutional amendments made without the parties sitting down, even though they are opponents at the dialogue table. Vetting deadlines cannot be postponed unless the language of cooperation between the parties is found and it is debated why and how such a conclusion will be reached. We can not develop our national economy and culture if we do not come together, position and opposition. We can not go to the EU if the whole democratic world declares that Albania deserves admission to this body to become like the whole of Europe, if it is declared by the Albanian opposition that our country has not met the conditions, playing with issues such as touch the souls of all Albanians wherever they are. For this reason, the most important factors on the European Continent, but also DASH as well as all policy-making bodies seek to look at political parties on the same front in terms of coordination and important agreements, without which there is no development and progress, but above all democracy would die. Calls for cooperation are progressive. They have a purpose and a desire: -Being together to achieve major goals. On the contrary, statements not to be made with traitors are burying of democracy and sabotaging the future. Invitations for cooperation fall on deaf ears even for major issues of national importance. They have terrible fears, the opposition leaders are almost terrorized to come together for a major goal. Our opposition has nothing to fear about the future of Albania. It does not take much courage to understand the essence of a functioning democracy. Cooperation and agreements are the basis of a country's achievements. The fear of this cooperation, which unfortunately manifests itself on a large scale today, speaks of the Latinism of the Albanian democracy, and this must be urgently corrected. Albanian citizens expect to see the political forces on one front, that of the future for the good of the country and not to be afraid and terrified of democracy and cooperation.
