Party leaders to be promoters of democratic governance

Written by GJON NEÇAJ 16 Mars 2022

Albanian society has expressed its will to become a democratic country just like other western countries but, still, in our days, this desire and need has not been realized leaving us in an intermediate phase that we are used to call transition. In Albania, the communist regime really collapsed here a quarter of a century ago, and the face of the governing form changed, but the model changed a little, remaining in the "old" model in the form of acting and governing. The Albanian political class is to blame for this. Therefore, in addition to the commitment to deepen the reforms in the country, to get out of the transition our country needs a new spirit, a new governing mentality personified with modern western democracy. The new spirit and new mentality no one better represents than the youth being educated by taking direct academic and life experiences in western democracies. We are among the few countries of western democracies, where the youth has no role in decision-making, and does not constitute the renewing force of the country, is trying to leave the homeland. Numerous sacrifices and financial difficulties, where high intellectual values ??have been appreciated, with enviable levels even in the field of academic formation, as well as with extraordinary integrative skills in the life of the society of the country, are not appreciated and supported by society or organizations. state. Therefore, this youth that carries progressive, developmental and democratizing values, should not only be appreciated, as it deserves by the Albanian politics and state, but also to be supported and supported to give the necessary space, where I can give its help to make possible the exit of our country once and for all. well from the protracted transition. The young Albanians educated inside and outside the country, we should not leave the fate of the homeland in the hands of an outdated and outdated political class, which does not carry any modern vision in the way of governing and in the deepening of the integration reforms. We must be determined and convinced that our country deserves to be like other countries in Europe, being the young intellectuals who will lead Albania, their homeland in the vision of the new century, different from their ancestors, of a different policy, but certainly with the support of society and popular opinion. In our opinion, for the Albanian politics in general, the syndrome of disrespect of the youth to necessarily engage in to give a positive direction to the social, economic and social changes of the Albanians afflicted and endured by the prolonged transition and the barren postulates of union with the European family, is bayraktarism in politics, mainly, continued even in the post-dictatorship, it still continues today. of the majority, lined up in the series of barren debates in parliament on everything government, as if it was led by people who do not know what the state and power are, that the example of leadership is theft and corruption, that through ministries run by the incompetent, etc. We think that the time of changes in political leadership should be in cohesion with the appropriateness of socio-political changes. if repeated, the punishment will be inalienable.
