The Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu said today in "Opinion" that the citizens who will be the first to be vaccinated will be selected based on the electronic system and will be notified by family doctors.
She said that so far in Albania 45 thousand citizens have passed the coronavirus, while she reveals that there have been rare cases of re-infection with the virus.
Fevziu: Who will select the citizens, those who are a priority to be vaccinated?
Manastirliu: We have an electronic system that has all the data for each citizen in relation to these age groups, we also have data for people with concomitant diseases. Therefore each selection will be in an electronic file. It is the health workers who determine which will be the most priority to be vaccinated. In case they will be in health centers, it will be done with territorial areas. But the lists will be according to the electronic system, the citizens will be notified by the family doctor and the document is directly entered into a system.
Fevziu: How many citizens have officially passed Covid?
Manastirliu: 45 thousand citizens have officially passed it. IPH is making the necessary calculations to calculate the unofficial number of those who have passed.
Fevziu: Do we have official cases of reinfection?
Manastirliu: I do not want to say that it belongs to the doctors, but to my knowledge there are rare cases of infection, but they want a detailed study.
