The expert on international security issues, Ardian Shtuni, stated that it cannot yet be said that there will be consequences for Prime Minister Edi Rama, regarding the case of the former FBI official, Charles McGonigal.
In the "Review" show on Euronews Albania, Shtuni said that there may be investigations if new evidence emerges.
"It depends on what will come out. It is impossible at this moment to come to a conclusion, because the visibility we have is very limited. If there can be sanctions? Everything is open depending on the implication that an official has. The arm of American justice is long.
Depending on the evidence that may come to light, there may be other investigations that may go beyond the investigation that is closed for the two lawsuits that have already been filed," he emphasized.
