The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tritan Shehu, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that one of the reasons for the defeat of the Democratic Party in the May 14 elections was the lack of a seal and the sale of some deputies to Rama.
According to Shehu, Enkelejd Alibeaj received 2 million euros from Edi Rama and the state budget, which is not known where he took them.
"He received 2 million euros, 1 million for the political year and 1 for the election campaign, from the state budget for someone who did not even present 14 candidates, for someone who does not represent PD at all. Where did that money go, he knows. Rama needs his crutches to do what happened in the last elections where some municipalities lost because of Rama's crutches. This creates confusion, because we didn't have our logo, the name of our leader, that's why Rama needs to destroy PD. For this he uses his crutches", said Shehu.
