The candidate of the opposition, who emerged from the Primaries in the grouping of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, has debated with the analyst Andi Bushati regarding the constructions in the capital.
In the show "Now" on Euronews Albania, Këlliçi said that he is in favor of construction in the capital.
Bushati returned to him saying that this is something terrible, since Tirana is concreted.
Andi Bushati: The last phrase terrified me. I am in favor of construction, in this city that is being concreted.
Belind Kelliçi: No, no. I am in favor of polycentric construction. Why were you terrified? You know very well that I am against building in the center. You know very well that I am against the demolition of the National Theater. I am in favor of the development of the city in all its space.
Andi Bushati: I understand development, for the good of Tirana, for the good of the lungs of its citizens, in the Great Ring of Tirana.
