The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, presented the Electoral Reform today. In his speech, Basha said that it is an opportunity to expand the horizon towards a new constitution.
Basha mentioned open lists and vetting in politics as the two main elements of the electoral reform.
He also said that "we extend our hand to everyone to put aside divisions and come together for an important reform".
"It is the opportunity to expand the horizon towards a new constitution, the horizon of which should summarize not only the changes since 1998, the infamous 2008 that today penalizes the citizens and the control of the authorities, but also the horizon of hope and Albanian youth
