Brizida Gjikondi: Berisha is not interested in the union, there will be divisions even among the municipal councilors

The well-known lawyer, Brizida Gjikondi, stated yesterday that Sali Berisha is not interested in joining the official DP to enter the elections. During an interview for the media, the lawyer emphasized that even the municipal councilors will have the same fate as the party chairman. "The only one who is not interested in the union is Berisha, despite playing with it. He doesn't care about joining Alibeaj's side because he doesn't like the cause for which he will become a hero. All parties can offer municipal councilors, but I have the impression that municipal councilors will be offered in every city because they don't care about not having their representatives in the Municipal Council. They were burned by the boycott. I have a clear idea about municipal councils that are simply extension levers or rather a human grouping without identity of political parties because municipal councils should be elected by party list and not by first and last name to get votes. Therefore, the municipal councils will have the same fate as the DP mayor, where they will suffer the division and intrigues that they will have within the clans for personal reasons", she declared. Meanwhile, Gjikondi calls DP's proposals for Tirana loser names that, according to her, seal the division of the party. All these names, especially for Bejko and Godole, despite the fact that they are names that carry a history and have a connection with the philosophy of PD, all three names are losers that seal the division of PD and its loss not only in Tirana but also in the whole of Albania", underlined the jurist Brizida Gjikondi.
