The head of organization in the Democratic Party, Klevis Balliu, says that the February 11 protest is aimed at removing Prime Minister Edi Rama and that this political force will do everything to achieve it.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Balliu said that the PD does not seek to come to power through violence, but through votes.
"It is a powerful action with no return. There is no turning back, either this man will leave, or this state will not be made. Protest, protest, revolution wherever he goes. How dare he make fun of the parliament. There will be protests everywhere until he leaves.
Only Albanians can save Albania here. We will square off with them and it is definitely a call for sacrifice. Let's sacrifice everything to protect the country. Nobody here wants to come to power by violence, but by electoral process. We will vote, we do not recognize violence", he emphasized.
