Will "non grata" be announced soon? Ilir Meta makes the strong statement, reveals the secret plan: Let them do it while I am President! I will pay for the extradition ticket myself, my assets and accounts will be frozen

President Ilir Meta has responded to the rumors that he is the next politician declared "non grata". 

He stated that it would be good for the US to declare him "non grata" during his time as President, if DASH plans to take such a decision for him after the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Meta told "Opinion" that he would be willing to pay for the ticket himself to face American justice, while he expressed his readiness to block his assets and accounts if he is proven guilty.

How are your relations with the US, some US officials have not included a meeting in their gendarme?

I have fun, I know very well who the rank is, I know very well how many assistant secretaries, how many deputy assistant secretaries there are… These are trivialities of Albanian politics, it is a center here that spreads news, it came, this one does not belong to Meta. Why the president is unemployed.

Is there a US concern with you and your role?

They have no way of having. I know why? If a politician who has not lied to the US is Ilir Meta. If there is a policy in Albania that has been told that this is yes and this is no and no, it has been given to it and it has been argued, Meta has always been right that he thinks a lot when talking to partners…

After leaving the Presidency can you be declared non grata?

Not women? It makes me laugh at this issue. I would be disappointed if it did not happen while I am President. Ilir Meta has no problem with US laws. He never paid in white or black to take pictures with US Presidents. Ilir Meta has zero problems with the US.

Ilir Meta nuk ka paguar në të zezë për tu fotografuar me politikan të ndryshëm në Amerikë. Ilir Meta nuk i është dashur që të paguaj drejtësinë në Amerikë për të mbyllur çështje të drejtësisë.  Ilir Meta ka firmosur marrëveshjen e ekstradimit me SHBA-të, nëse kjo gjë ka probleme jam i gatshëm të të përballem edhe atje dhe me çdo institucion tjetër.
