Qerim Ismailaj is the current mayor of Mallakastra and the candidate supported by SP in the May 14 elections.
The journalist of Euronews Albania, Eksiola Shehu clarified in "Noë me Erla Mëhillin" that Ismailaj has not yet been reconfirmed.
"There is a question mark because of his case in SPAK currently. The Democratic Party has reported him in 2021 because he did not declare in the decriminalization form a penalty in the Greek state for the forgery of seals and stamps," said Shehu.
The journalist said that there is time until March 26 for Rama to reconfirm Qerim Ismailaj's candidacy.
