"Scenarios of fear..."/ Emmanuel Macron lands by helicopter in Albania

There are images from the moment when the French delegation passed. Apparently, French President Emmanuel Macron has been received by helicopter.

As he was received by Prime Minister Edi Rama, Macron said that he is happy to be in the capital of Albania.

"We have concrete projects to discuss. I thank Rama for the hospitality, you should be proud to host the EU in Tirana" - said the French president.

As for electricity, Macron said that there is a crisis due to the war in Ukraine, but emphasized that the war scenario is not for him.

“Kam thënë gjithmonë të njëjtën gjë, lufta në Ukrainë është çështje sigurie për të gjithë rajonin. Jam shumë i lumtur që sot jam në Shqipëri. Dua të falenderoj Ramën për këtë samit, në një moment mjaft të rëndësishëm për ne në kuadër të presidencës ceke kemi projekte konkrete për të diskutuar.

Është e rëndësishme që të kemi solidaritet për energjinë. Gjithashtu edhe për procesin e integrimit në BE. Është e rëndësishme që të punohet drejt solidaritetit. Do të kemi mundësi bashkë me kancelarin Scholz të përgatisim konkluzionet për energjinë që janë diskutuar edhe javën e kaluar.

Today, Tirana hosts the EU-Western Balkans summit, where 27 leaders of the European Union will participate, as well as a number of 32 friendly delegations. The EU-Western Balkans summit takes place for the first time in Albania.
