The director of the DP leader's cabinet, Akil Kraja, tells the moments when the opposition leader was hit during the December 6 protest.

Speaking in an interview on "Neës 24", he says that the biggest fear at that moment was the aggravation of the situation.

How did you learn about Berisha's hit in the December 6 protest?

The December 6 protest was the most European act that could be done that day. On the one hand, it was a government propaganda activity that sought to present a false reality. On the other hand, it was a peaceful and democratic protest. At that moment I was near the bridge and like many other MPs, we were waiting for Berisha to approach us. All of us at that moment were blocked, had fear, hesitation.

Were you afraid it could get worse?

Of course. We were at Hotel Dajti, while the aggression happened at the small bridge of the Catholic Church. These are moments where political and human capacities come to the fore. Not a few minutes passed and Berisha went up to the podium to deliver the message that we are here for democracy.

Do you have other facts about the aggressor?

The individual is a contingent of the police and was used by the police for drug cases. It has been confirmed that we are dealing with an individual who has this connection. It was an assassination attempt that failed. The assassin who sought to damage the protest was connected to the police. Who had an interest in this democratic activity failing? Edi Rama.
