The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, has arrived at the summit of the European Union with the Western Balkans. She was received by Edi Rama, who welcomed her to Albania, while they also had a conversation between them.
Meloni also held a statement for journalists, stating that it is necessary to speed up the procedures for the membership of the Western Balkans in the European Union.
She then stated that Albania and other Balkan countries have the support of Italy.
"We have a great responsibility for the countries of the Western Balkans. Especially now with Russia's aggression against Ukraine. It is important to strengthen the procedure for the membership of these countries in the EU. Cyber ??security. Other issues that Italy is committed to.
