The former DP candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, described the abandonment of the meeting by some DP deputies as a stab in the back. Here we can mention Gazment Bardhin, Saimir Korreshin, Helidon Bushatin, Dashnor Sula, Lefter Geshtenjen, Bledion Nallbatin and Dhurata Çupi. According to Bejko, these deputies have kicked the party with this action.
"I don't know how it will continue. It was discussed by all members for 8 hours and we believe that everyone gave their version of how PD saw it. I proposed both proposals, I matched them in one. Party elections cannot be held in August. When the general secretary left, I did not find out how he left. The action that was taken was like this, if I don't take into account "get up and leave". The abandonment of the meetings by the deputies was like that. It is a stab in the back for PD. The actions they have done to everyone is responsible for the democrats today and tomorrow. We need support, not kicking," says Bejko.
