Joe Biden puts Albanian politics into anxiety, corrupt senior officials "in the circle of hell" from European conditions, how will the "burning" files in SPAK be filled with additional materials from the Americans

The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, yesterday congratulated the 110th anniversary of the Independence of Albania, while between the lines he issued strong messages about politics and officials involved in criminal and corrupt affairs, thus putting the entire Albanian politics into anxiety. Today in Albania we are talking about several "VIP" personalities who have been declared "non grata" by the USA, this list is headed by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who according to the American State Department and the Binden administration is involved in corruption and undermining democracy. From time to time US officials, such as Deputy Assistant Gabriel Escobar, have appealed that justice in Albania investigate the persons declared "non grata". But this decision of the Americans has not affected justice (Special Structure Against Organized Crime and Corruption) and especially Sali Berisha, because the latter calmly continues his political activity, openly challenging them. However, while the Albanian authorities have "closed their eyes", by not starting investigations against Berisha, referring to the DASH decision, which was followed by Great Britain, a strong message was sent yesterday by President Joe Biden and the US Secretary of State. Antony Blinken, who have asked the Albanian authorities to deepen the fight against corruption, implying that they are ready to cooperate in order to advance this battle. Albania is under strict monitoring by Brussels for integration, since chapters 34 and 24 have been opened, which are related to the consolidation of the rule of law and the end of impunity regarding the attack on corruption and crime, this main condition on which the negotiations depend. Thus, this movement of the Americans, who let it be implied that they can offer any assistant to the Albanian side and cooperate closely because our country is "in the circle of hell" from European conditions, is an alarm bell for Sali Berisha declared non grata" , as involved in corruption. So, if we read the message carefully, the signals are that the noose is narrowing for Sali Berisha, as the US-EU-Albania trinomial is expected to advance the fight against corruption and crime, while in the final, anyone involved in violence will must be held accountable before justice.

Presidenti i Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës Joe Biden, përmes një mesazhi dërguar Presidentit Bajram Begaj uroi dje Shqipërinë dhe popullin shqiptar me rastin e 110-vjetorit të shpalljes së Pavarësisë dhe Ditës së Flamurit. Në mesazhin e Presidentit Biden, ndër të tjera, theksohej se SHBA do mbështesin Shqipërinë në rrugën drejt BE dhe se sipas tij, Uashingtoni pret të thellojë partneritetin për luftën ndaj korrupsionit. “Shtetet e Bashkuara do të vazhdojnë të mbështesin Shqipërinë në rrugën e saj drejt anëtarësimit në Bashkimin Evropian. Ndërsa fillojmë shekullin e ardhshëm të marrëdhënieve tona dypalëshe, pres me padurim të thellojmë partneritetin tonë edhe më tej, duke përfshirë luftën kundër korrupsionit dhe krimit të organizuar, forcimin e sigurisë energjetike në të gjithë Evropën dhe forcimin e bashkëpunimit për sigurinë kibernetike”, shprehet Presidenti Biden në mesazhin e tij. Ndërkohë edhe Sekretari i Shtetit i SHBA, Antony J. Blinken përcolli një mesazh urimi ditën e Pavarësisë së Shqipërisë, teksa njësoj si presidenti Joe Biden vuri theksin tek lufta kundër korrupsionit. “Ne urojmë Shqipërinë për arritjen e hapjes të negociatave me BE në korrik dhe mbetemi të përkushtuar për t'ju mbështetur përgjatë rrugës suaj transatlantike. Së bashku, po punojmë për të luftuar korrupsionin dhe krimin e organizuar, për të siguruar energji ndërsa çojmë përpara agjendën tonë të përbashkët klimatike për Evropën dhe për të forcuar mbrojtjen kibernetike”, shkruan ndër të tjera sekretari Blinken.
