Journalist Aulon Kalaja made a strong statement, as he said that Prime Minister Rama will no longer be officially welcomed at the White House due to his involvement in the McGonigal case.
He also added that regarding the file of the former FBI official, there will be surprises since it is not only about 225 thousand dollars.
The journalist underlined that McGonigal should do a great favor to Albania and the USA, becoming repentant of justice and showing where he got the money.
"Mr. Edi Rama, the prime minister of Albania no longer sets foot in the White House. I am making this statement here at this moment because he is a man under accusation. It doesn't fit in the White House anymore, that's my statement. Prime Minister Edi Rama is no longer officially expected at the White House. That's the first thing and the second thing I want to say is that Mr. McGonigal needs to speak up, so he needs to come back to justice for what he knows, to save himself and do him a huge favor. Albania, but also the United States. I have to speak up and tell him where he got the money. I believe we will have surprises as it is not about 225 thousand dollars, believe me. It is a modest figure for the FBI," Kalaja said.
