The candidate of the Democratic Party for the city of Elbasan, Luciano Boçi, has accused the municipality of Elbasan of distributing aid to representatives of the Roma and Egyptian communities in Elbasan, on the condition that the latter submit their identity cards and sign will be voters of the Socialist Party.

The institution that has treated the Roma and Egyptian community in Elbasan in the most indecent way, is now giving them the next alms to buy their vote. After the elections, he forgets them, despises them, chases them away, insults them! Undoubtedly, take the aid because it is the tax money of the citizens of Elbasan, but on May 14, with a vote, give punishment to those who have despised you for 16 years!'- writes Boçi.

But the municipality of Elbasan has refuted Luciano Boçi. Through a press release, the Elbasan Municipality clarifies that the aid distributed is a charity activity of the "Kindness for the World" Association, which, like every year, distributes aid to families in need on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

"Regret for the low political speculations released in public by the citizen Luciano Boçi towards the institution of the Municipality of Elbasan. The images sold by him on social networks and then in the media as allegedly distributing aid from the Municipality of Elbasan are in fact neither less nor more than a charity activity of the Association "Kindness for the World" who, like every year, distribute aid to families in need on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan".  
Further in the reaction it is said that the only difference from the past years is that the citizen Luciano Boçi's eyes have been darkened in his dream to occupy the Municipality of Elbasan.

"The dream for which he is ready to stain and make dirty every religious community, every non-governmental organization, every public institution, every citizen of Elbasan. May 14 will be the day when Luciano Boçi will receive the deserved answer as the deputy of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta", it is emphasized in the reaction.
The announcement states that the Municipality of Elbasan has been and will always be in support of the needy.

"The municipality of Elbasan also thanks and expresses gratitude to every charity organization in their annual efforts, away from any political influence, to help as many families in need as possible", the announcement further emphasizes.
