The CEC demands the fine of three mayors and some other officials (NAMES)

CEC has asked KAS to impose administrative measures against three mayors of the country. It is about the mayor of Fier, Armando Subashi, Nuri Belba of Përrenjas and Kastriot Gurra of Librazhdi. The announcement states that the commissioner found administrative violations of the Electoral Code.

Violations were also found for the responsibility for public activities in the Ministry of Tourism and Environment as well as in 6 other municipalities.

Notification:

The commissioner found administrative violations of the Electoral Code and decision no. 9, dated 24.12.2020 and decided to propose to the Appeals and Sanctions Commission the imposition of administrative sanctions for:

1) Mr. Armando Subashi, Mayor of Fier Municipality, with a fine of 10 (ten) thousand ALL;
2) Mr. Nuri Belba, Mayor of Prrenjas Municipality, with a fine of 10 (ten) thousand lek;
3) Mr. Kastriot Gurra, Mayor of Librazhd Municipality, with a fine of 10 (ten) thousand lek;
4) The person responsible for reporting public activities to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
5) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in Poliçan Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
6) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in the Skrapar Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
7) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in Roskovec Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
8) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in Lezhë Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
9) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in Bulqiza Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL;
10) The person responsible for reporting public activities, in Elbasan Municipality, a fine of 5,000 (five thousand) ALL.
