The deadline for applications ended yesterday and three of the members of the Constitutional Court have expressed interest. The meeting of the Judges of the Constitutional Court, in the framework of the procedure for the election of the President of the Constitutional Court, met yesterday and found that the deadline for applications has closed. 3 judges have expressed interest in this position, listed below, in alphabetical order, based on last name: Fiona Papajorgji, Marjana Semini, Holta Zaça. Also, the Meeting of Judges, based on legal provisions, has decided to hold its next meeting, on February 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to listen to the platforms and vision of each candidate, to continue with the procedures of voting for the election of the President of the Constitutional Court. Election of the President of the Constitutional Court

In the event that there is more than one candidate and during the voting none of them receives the expected majority of votes, a new vote is held and, after this, voting continues between the candidates who received the largest number of votes. At the end of this voting, the candidate who received the most votes is declared elected. In the event that none of the candidates has received the majority of votes or the votes are divided equally, the Chairman is determined by lot. The procedure for the development of the lottery is foreseen by the decision of the Meeting of Judges.

Ajo vijoi më tej duke thënë se reforma në drejtësi ka mbështetjen e fortë, absolute të Shteteve të Bashkuara, si dhe atë të Bashkimit Europian.
