"Don't mess with my shirts"/ Basha is more determined than ever: Here's how to liberate the political system

Lulzim Basha follows the tour of the younger and sympathetic DP meetings all over the country. Through a post on Facebook, he shared this Saturday some fragments from the meeting with the young men and women of Branch 14 in Tirana. According to him, the debate he started on the platform for change unites the whole society

It was a pleasure to talk with the young men and women of Branch 14 in Tirana. I listened attentively to their concerns and proposals and shared with them the platform for the fundamental changes that the country needs, to create the necessary space for the youth to unfold their potential and ambitions. Young people, like most citizens, reject the political system that has killed race, competition and accountability. For this reason, the debate that we have launched on the platform for change unites us with the whole society, which demands that its voice be heard and is ready for a radical change of politics. The focus of which should be the problems of the citizens, not the troubles of a few politicians.
Basha said that the low attacks that have been made recently do not stop him from his objective to fight for some important causes such as open lists, vetting in politics, the limitation of mandates or even the vote of immigrants.

 The discussion we started is not about proper names, but about the ideas we share about how this backward political reality should change. Therefore, no matter how trivial the attacks from those who seek to escape the debate, dealing with the colors of my shirts, do not affect my determination to fight with you for open lists, for vetting in politics, the limitation of mandates for the prime minister and the vote for our fellow citizens in emigration. Without freeing the political system, we cannot have a strong economy that guarantees opportunities for all. The return of decision-making to the citizens is the only way for hope to ring again in Albania!
