DP still without a decision on the elections, former deputy: Bardhi against Alibeaj, they will not be able to produce candidates in 61 municipalities

Today, Enkelejd Alibeaj held a meeting with the Presidency and the Parliamentary Group for about 8 hours, but there is still no decision on how to enter the local elections. There is still a discussion on how they will enter the elections with candidates in the entire municipality, or only with lists of councilors, as the deadline for their registration ends on Monday.

Former deputy Myslym Murrizi says that Alibeaj's group should come up with candidates in 61 municipalities, but he still says that this will not happen. After the meeting of the group, Murrizi says that it is obvious that MP Gazment Bardhi has gone against the line of Enkeljd Alibeajt. The latter requires candidates to be nominated in 61 municipalities. But according to Murriz, they won't be able to release the names until Monday.

"This group that is meeting today, that has Basha, Luli, must produce 61 candidates. We should see by Monday. I doubt not. You selected 61 candidates. I saw that there was a debate in that meeting and what I saw Bardhi is a part that was not against the line of Mr. Alibeaj. He has insisted on 61 municipalities, white may have proposed. Until Monday, I do not believe that they will be able to put 61 candidates. They will turn out much worse, they risk getting 15 thousand votes in all of Albania. The battle is with the voter. They will issue four candidates, they won't even issue in Vlora, Lushnja, Berat, Tropoja, I don't know about Tirana", said Murrizi.
On the other hand, former deputy Azgan Haklaj says that Alibeaj's group has ready the names for 61 municipalities and that the decision will be made tomorrow if they will compete or come out only with lists for municipal councils.
