PD continues to be divided, Alibeaj 'slaps' Berisha, here's what he says about the December 6 protest

The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has come out against the chief democrat, Sali Berisha, regarding the protest that will take place on December 6, the same day when the EU-Western Balkans Summit will be held in Tirana.
Alibeaj said that protests against the European Union are not the right tool.
According to him, concerns should be expressed to the Europeans, not through protests.
"I have made my position clear. What I have made clear, regarding the protests against Europe, I do not believe is the right tool. We, the Albanians, need Europe. Europe should be considered as a benevolence and an additional tool that monitors the severely wounded democracy in Albania. The rule of law, the rule of law, the rights of individuals.
The instrument, which we will have to follow, will have to be such that it is functional and it is functional, I think, together with my colleagues, we have chosen that all those concerns, that anyone can say in Albania, to bring them to the ears of the Europeans. And not only that, that this is insufficient, but to receive the promise, the commitment, the mobilization of Europe, to stand by the Albanians. We have chosen this path and I believe that this is the most functional path", he emphasized.
The Democratic Party has announced that citizens will gather again in front of the Prime Minister's Office on December 6.
But even this Thursday, the police leaders communicated to the representatives of the Democratic Party that the development of the protest in that part of the boulevard will not be possible.
But even this last warning of the police did not stop Berisha, who expressed his determination for the December 6 protest.
