This afternoon, the Socialist Party will officially announce 45 candidates in the race for the May 14 elections.
In these elections, the Socialist Party will compete with 45 current mayors. Three counties will have no change in the list of names. Tirana will continue with the 5 names governing the municipalities, the political leader of Korça, Niko Peleshi, has decided not to make changes to the 6 current mayors. Even Lezha has not brought new names, despite the poor results in the internal polls in Mirdita.
Even Dibra's team would not change, but after the arrest of the socialist mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, the political leader, Belinda Balluku, will have to find another name to compete.
