One of the pledges of one of the candidates in the Primaries of the Democratic Party for the Municipality of Tirana is not to allow the flying of the LGBT flag in Tirana.

Invited to 'Opinion', Fatmir Merkoçi said that no flag of this community will be flown in the buildings of the Tirana Municipality. He said that he considers raising the LGBT flag as a violation of his blood.

"I will not allow the LGTB flag to be waved in the municipality of Tirana. I don't step on my blood," Merkoçi said.
