Chancellor Olaf Scholz will participate in the EU-Western Balkans summit in Tirana.
The German Chancellor will be accompanied by the General Secretary of the Regional Cooperation Council, Majlinda Bregu.
This news is reported by the deputy spokesperson of the federal government, Wolfgang Büchner, who reports that Schols and Bregu will be received in Tirana by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola will also participate in this Summit.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz will participate in the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Tirana on December 6.
In addition to the 27 member states of the EU, the six partner countries of the Western Balkans, Albania as host country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Kosovo are also invited. It is chaired by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
