Former FBI official Charles McGonigal met in Albania with businessmen, politicians, prosecutors and judges, according to analyst Lorenc Vangjeli, who said that McGonigal tried to interfere in the vetting process as well.

According to Vangjeli, McGonigal received millions of euros from businessmen in Albania and Kosovo, promising them various services.

Lorenc Vangjeli: He has met businessmen, politicians, judges and prosecutors. It is about amounts of millions of euros that were received in Albania and Kosovo, in promise of services that could be provided. I am saying what is being said, in some cases even by the victims themselves who have given significant amounts. There has been an attempt to interfere in the Vetting process, to determine who passes or not. Every Albanian has seen at least one thriller movie and they have the idea that the FBI is the one who does everything.
