SPAK put him behind bars, that's where Vangjush Dako spent the first night

Last night, Vangjush Dako spent his first night unlike any other. He was arrested yesterday afternoon by order of SPAK for abuse of office.

Lawyer Petrit Ismaili stated that as soon as Dako found out that there was a warrant for his arrest, he left on his own and went to the Tirana police headquarters and then was sent to the security block on "Mine Peza" street.

In addition to Vangjush Dako, there was an arrest warrant for 8 former officials of the municipality of Durrës and a builder. There are two files against Dako.

One for a construction permit granted 11 years ago and the second for a tender from 2014-2015 that caused a damage of 18 million ALL to the state budget.

The complaint about the building came from the residents, after the building suffered damage from the 2019 earthquake, highlighting the old world that was made with the additional floors. While the denunciation for the second file, according to the lawyer, came from the DP deputy Xhaferraj.
