Tensions in the North/ Minister Gërvalla reacts strongly to Rama's proposal: Very dangerous, I get scared when I hear

The chief diplomat of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, has emphasized that there is no doubt that the September 24 attack in Banjské i Zveçani was an act committed by Serbia. Gërvalla, during an interview for Albanian Radio and Television, emphasized that Serbia insists on creating the Union of Serbian Municipalities, not to help the citizens in the north, but to further destabilize Kosovo.

"The assumption of responsibility by Radoicic, terrorist, criminal, shows the direct connection with Serbia, with the president of Serbia. Because for a long time he was the person selected by the Serbian president to destabilize our country. There is no doubt for me that Sunday's attack was also in the same context, directed by political Serbia," she said.

Meanwhile, regarding the idea of ??the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, to raise the dialogue to a conference level, Gërvalla described it as dangerous.

"I get scared when I listen to conferences, because I remember what happened in the 90s. Conference after conference, while people in Bosnia died. This is a very dangerous proposition. We do not need international conferences, we are sovereign states. We need an honest process that opens real doors for Kosovo and Serbia so that they can normalize relations", says the head of diplomacy in Kosovo.

Regarding the dialogue, Gërvalla repeated the criticism of the European Union envoy for the dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, as incapable of mediating the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. She said that a dialogue that hides goals will fail and hopes that the internationals have seen very well what Serbia intends from Sunday, September 24.
