The deputy mayor of Korça, Benila Themeli, confirmed that in Korça, the current mayor, Sotiraq Filo, is running for a third term at the head of the largest municipality in the southeast.
Themeli said that the socialists of Korça have chosen Filo for the next 4-year-old, whose staff, as he said, has been meeting with citizens for 3 months to get to know their concerns.
"In Korça, electoral campaigns or re-elections are not seen as political contests, but as a growing scale to continue the started projects and start new projects. A very ambitious program for the next 4 years is already prepared", said Themeli.
