Jozefina Topalli, chairwoman of the "Movement for Change" has clarified that she is against the three largest political parties in our country, saying that it will be difficult to overcome them all.
Asked who she will form a coalition with, Topalli told "Open" that her party is against the three leaders of the major parties, while regarding the mandates, the former speaker stated that the mandates she can get, she will unite them with the opposition only if negotiations are held for the prime minister.
Thus Topalli hinted that he does not agree to be Basha the next Head of Government.
Excerpts from the interview
Vasili: How can the future be trusted to inexperienced people?
Topalli: Here they killed the political elite. Creating politicians is an extraordinary sacrifice. I entered when I was young, inexperienced. Opposition grows politically. I think that these are given the opportunity and I urge them to form a new political class that has the public interest first and not the personal one.
Vasili: But what do you represent? Who will you form a coalition with?
Topalli: We are against all three. Against Rama, against Basha, Against Meta, who at certain moments got along very well with each other. When they seem to be looking for a solution, they left everything and were together with each other when they made the electoral code, they were silent when the constitutional changes were made that had big problems. Here Meta makes a difference who has been against the constitutional changes. They were together when the theater issue arose. The history of 8 years has taken away the credibility of these mayors. I am not to choose the lesser evil. The mandates we will receive can be joined by the opposition, but by negotiating for the prime minister.
Our country is without real opposition and I am not talking only about burning mandates or handing over municipal councils, which is the most irresponsible thing I would not dare to mention. Why should we think that it is either Edi Rama or Lulzim Basha with Ilir Meta.
