The senior official makes a strong statement: Albin Kurti is 'non grata' from the USA, it has not become official

The Mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Albania Arifi, has made a strong statement saying that the head of the government of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has been declared "Non Grata" by the USA, even though this has not become official yet.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Arifi underlined that Kurti through various forms has made policies that have been to the detriment of the Albanians of Presheva.

"It was clear to me that this agreement will be realized. I also told Osman the point of view. Albin Kurti in the USA, even though it has not been made official, is a person 'non grata'. But we ask for continuity, so that we have rights from the government and the Constitution of Kosovo.

We must live freely, based on economic perspectives, use national symbols. I have always been critical of self-determination. In the last three years, Kurti has intervened in various ways to the detriment of the Albanians of the Presheva Valley," he said.
