Will there be other earthquake tremors? Greek seismologist warns: Here is what could happen next week

Costas Papazachos, Professor of Seismology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has warned of other strong tremors.

"There will be a large seismic sequence next week. There will most likely be magnitude 6. Earthquakes are expected to continue for three months.

"Every person living in damaged homes should be evacuated and stay in safe places," Papazachos said.

Asked if there were any other seismic movements, Papazahos said: "Yesterday's 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck the same area after the quake. So far there have been no other moves. However, if this happens, it will be seen in the coming days "
