"Even his supporters abandoned him"/ Scary analysis of the Serbian media: The end of Vu?i? and his party has come!

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, held a rally in Belgrade today.

To fulfill his wish and to show how much "support he has, buses left from all over Serbia from early dawn in order to move to Belgrade as many people as possible who would admire the "courage and strength" of the "boy biggest in the new history of Serbia".

However, in reality none of this came to pass.

History will remember this period as a time when an entire country, even its supporters, were victims of the insatiable need of a man who wanted to be loved at all costs.

The scenes from the Branko bridge, where after a torrential rain the supporters abandoned Vucic and turned to buses, are a signal that the end of the rule of Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian Progressive Party has begun.

Against the rally, which was announced as "the biggest rally in the new history of Serbia" or "Rally of Hope", suffered a total collapse. Vu?i?'s words and appearance were not a strong enough argument for all the sympathizers to stand in front of the Parliament building and thus send the image of the mass that the president wanted so much.

Even the progressives were counting the days until Vucic's counter-rally.

Pro-regime media announced that there would be 200,000 supporters in the square, televisions prepared special shows with invited analysts.

Practically everything was ready for the great Leader to come out and announce what will happen to the traumatized nation after the tragedies. We haven't heard any of this. The president said what he usually says, and the people who were supposed to admire him, clap and shout him, some because of the rain, some because they had memorized all his words, began to leave the counter rally before it ended.

In vain, the president raised his voice, talked about salaries and pensions, said that his government has invested a lot in the development of the country and will continue to do so despite the criticism of those evildoers who are worried about a strong and powerful Serbia. The people he selfishly thought were his own have turned their backs on him. They didn't want to hear it. Because when you treat citizens like numbers, when you abuse them and use them to measure yourself against others and to prove that everyone loves you, then there is a good chance that everything will come back to you like a boomerang. And judging by the photos from the rally, that boomerang backfired on the one who started it.

It is returning because the dialogue has been delayed and the readiness for an honest conversation with the opposition is delayed.

Even withdrawing from the post of party leader will not help him. After years of poisoning public opinion, hatred, persecution of dissidents, trampling of all kinds of freedoms, it is too late.
