The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, stated yesterday at a press conference organized in front of journalists, that he fully accepts the decision taken by the Constitutional Court and that he will respect this decision. "You are aware that the decision of the Court has been made public, of course I fully accept this decision and I will respect it without any discussion. I will not question it at all. I am glad that the Constitutional Court has clarified that the decisions of the current government remain in force and the government remains in office. We will continue to perform the tasks. It is now a constitutional obligation to follow the procedures for holding elections. "We will fulfill our obligations, I want to assure all citizens that we will be on top of the duty towards the obligations", he said. The Prime Minister also spoke about the fact whether the decisions taken by this government will remain in force, a fact that has raised many concerns since becoming aware of the decision of the Constitutional Court. "The Constitutional Court has clarified that based on the principle of legal certainty and the fact that this judgment can not have retroactive effect, the decisions of the current government remain in force and the government remains in office until the election of the new government. We will continue to do our duty. We will fulfill our obligations arising from the Constitution and the decision of the Constitutional Court. I want to reassure the citizens that we will continue to deal seriously with the pandemic situation, a war that so far we have had good results, with an extraordinary work done by all combined institutions ", explained the head of the Kosovo government. a fact that has raised a lot of concern since becoming aware of the decision of the Constitutional Court. Hoti demands not to hinder the work of the government
Following his speech at the press conference where he declared the acceptance of the decision of the Constitutional Court, Hoti said that his wish, as well as the request of the business community, is that the Assembly not be dissolved without the approval of budget for 2021. “Now we have before us a very important task such as the budget for 2021. I call here before you, that the Assembly is not dissolved without the approval of next year's budget. Even in the meeting with the business community, it was their request that the budget be approved without being distributed to the Assembly. "All institutions will continue their work and agenda and I, as the Prime Minister of the country, will personally take care that no work is left behind, until the formation of a new government with a full mandate", said Hoti.
Hoti leaves open the possibility to run again
