The Union of Nurses in Northern Macedonia has announced that nurse Irena Dojcinovksa Milosovska, employed at the Geriatrics Institute "November 13" in Skopje, has died as a result of the COVID-19 virus.
"We appeal and emphasize that the virus is really ruthless and there is no selection on the ages it attacks.
This is not the first nurse to die from COVID-19, but she is the youngest. Nurses risk their lives and the lives of their loved ones for patients on a daily basis.
"Please adhere to the measures and help the health system that has been fighting beyond its means for a long time", say from the Nurses Union.
