TRAGEDY happens next door! The deliberate arson in a bar causes 7 injuries and

An intentional arson in a bar in the Nea Zmrini neighborhood of Athens has alerted the residents of the area, causing 7 injuries and one person in a serious state of health.

According to the fire brigade, some people broke the glass and threw incendiary items inside a bar on Elefterios Venizelos Street in this neighborhood.

The flames spread rapidly in the front part of the building and it took the intervention of dozens of firefighters to evacuate the residents and then extinguish the fire.

The injured are in the hospital out of danger, except for one of them, who has serious burn wounds.

Firefighters and police teams are investigating the arson.
