The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has stated that the attack in the North of Kosovo, as a result of which the Kosovar police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed, was part of a larger plan for the annexation of the North of Kosovo.

According to him, after the said attack, work would be done to create a corridor to Serbia, "to enable the supply of weapons and troops."
