Security expert Adrian Shtuni was invited this Saturday to Euronews Albania, where he spoke about the escalation of tensions in the north of Kosovo.

Stuni said that DASH's strong statement, where alarm signals were issued and Kosovo's unilateral actions were condemned, is an indication that the red line has been crossed by Prime Minister Kurti.

The expert emphasized that Kosovo at this moment does not need an Oso Kukë, but an Ismail Qemali, as unilateral actions would lead to complete international isolation.

"The moment Antoni Blinken says that we strongly condemn the actions of the government of Kosovo which have unnecessarily escalated tensions in the north, undermining our efforts to normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia and this will have consequences for our bilateral relations . Do you know what that means? This is beyond warning! You know how rarely the State Department uses expressions like "we strongly condemn the actions of a government" when North Korea conducts nuclear tests. This language can be used in private meetings, but if a public statement of this tone is made, you have crossed a red line here. This statement was not sent by an international organization or by any NGO, but was sent by the US Department of State. So here you have to put your finger on the head. Kosovo does not need Oso Kuka, Kosovo needs Ismail Qemali. This kind of way of acting leads to isolation", Shtuni said.
