Tensions in the North/ Germany ultimatum to Serbia: Reduce the army on the border with Kosovo without delay

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany has reacted to the situation between Kosovo and Serbia saying that further escalation between the two states should be avoided, the Kosovar media write.

Germany has said that it is important for Serbia to reduce its troops on the border with Kosovo without delay. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany has added that together with the partners they are in direct contact with the involved parties.

Official Berlin demands that the political process continue urgently.

"Further escalation between Serbia and Kosovo must be avoided. It is important that Serbia reduce its troops on the border with Kosovo without delay. Together with our partners, we are in direct contact with the parties involved. The political process must continue urgently", says the reaction.
