Tensions in the North, comes the reaction from the Foreign Minister of Serbia

The Foreign Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, in a statement to the media, stated that Serbia, by raising the level of military readiness, will not show that it is preparing for intervention in Kosovo.

He said that they are preparing for all scenarios and that they will protect their people,

"We will certainly protect our people, we hope that there will be no need for military intervention", said Dacic.

Commenting on yesterday's tensions in the north of Kosovo, Dacic said that it could be one of the most dangerous situations.

"They attack what is the basis of the survival of the Serbian people in the north of Kosovo, which is the local government that we must maintain. There is no mixed population there, to say that there are Albanians there. Thirteen Serbs voted in the so-called elections. Now you have some councilors and new mayors or mayors, and from the beginning we said that this movement could cause major conflicts and we warned the international community", said Daçiç.

Dacic claims that the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is constantly dealing with the creation of crises and that the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo is getting worse and worse.

"We are not for conflicts, we are for peaceful solutions to all issues, but everyone should know that all of Serbia stands behind our people in Kosovo, that is why Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i? ordered to raise the level of combat readiness, not because we prepare to intervene, but to be ready for all scenarios", said Dacic.
