Based on the price, one can easily assume that these eggs are organic and superior in value and quality.
This assumption is not necessarily correct.
Some theories say that the color of the eggshell is based on the color of the chicken's feathers.
But this is not the only theory that exists about eggs.

White-feathered chickens lay mostly white eggs, but there are some that only lay brown-shelled eggs.
Some types of chickens have colorful feathers and yet always lay eggs with the same colored shell, such as white.
So what determines the color brown?
Some theories say that the protruding part of the hen's outer ear provides a more accurate estimate of eggshell color.
Chickens that have this part of the ear in red color produce eggs with red or brown shells, while those with white color produce white eggs.

Experts explain that an egg takes 26 hours to form.
The peel membrane alone takes at least 75 minutes.
Pigment is the last step before the egg hatches.

All eggs follow the same path. But the white ones don't stop at the last 'station' to get the right pigment.
